What is orthopedics?

alt Orthopedics is the pathologies that deals with diseases of the bones and joints. This includes clinical research, splints and bandages, X-rays and orthopedic surgery to bones and joints. Prior to any orthopedic surgery we always include an extensive physical examination, including X-rays.



What types of operations and procedures can be used in orthopedics?

The most important are the physical examination and X-ray photographs. In exceptional cases, a CT scan will be proposed. Where indicated, blood test may also derive additional information due to hormone changes.

In our specially equipped operating suite, we routinely perform the following operations:
